WOW! What a long but fulfilling bus ride full of incredibly interesting people. Use my profile picture as a source if you're wondering what the ride felt like! Some of my favourite memories were...
Talking spirituality and life and truth with Butterfly Samurai and remembering "don't accept, don't reject, just understand."
Running to use my Dairy Queen card in Calgary and coming back with 2 smoothies one in each hand after not eating for a whole day. We trooped it, and those smoothies were so damn delicious! MMMMMMMmmmmMMM we would have had this 2 days ago but they didn't accept my gift card "cause their wi-fi was down" at the other DQ. So this time it felt like we earned it.
When I stood up and my pants fell down in front of a man who had binoculars around his neck(he was off to being a bird watcher at Prince George) where he yelled "OH MY!" in front of 60 + people. Luckily I was wearing shorts underneath, but in the story he spread to the rest of the bus, I was somehow pantsless...
Weighing ourselves at the Greyhound depot and trying to get strangers to guess our weight for dried fruit. People were not as excited as we were but that definately made it more fun!
Hanging with Tysin and Johnny Blaze laughing about the driver announcing everything from saying EVERY single layover to "check out the local mall here " as well as "the busy movie theatre is around the corner if your layover is extra long and you need some popcorn!" then they discussed their extensive tattoo collection, why they got them, and which ones they wished they never gotten. The one that stood out the most was a giant dragon breathing fire onto Johnny Blaze's ass. I then asked Tysin why he had tattoos on his face (of course I asked someone with tattoos on their face this question!) And he told me that it helps weed out the people who he should be talking to, if they judge him for them, then they're not people he wants to connect with. This man truly is holding his own as a man and we were so blessed to meet him! yaaaaa
Saying goodbye to Tysin and handing him a Red Envelope sticker pack with a pin, and at the bottom he looked and exclaimed "Whoa ! a lucky penny!" that ms. Jennipurr packed for any sweet strangers I meet along the way.
Writing puns with my main man Butterfly Samurai whom I wouldn't be settled in Banff if it wasn't for him! When we both saw the outlines of the mountains we just started cheering on a silent bus and we knew how ready we were for this whole thing! He invited me to stay with his cousin and this place is absolutely beautiful with great people that I'll tell you all about!
Pablo the bus driver dropping us off and our bags were here! From Toronto with soooo many layovers, 2 and half days later, 60 + hours and we've arrived to his guitar, my skateboard and mad posters stickers as Pable Driverman sipped his Iced cappucino, we celebrated singing songs and creating music as the stars overlooked our adventures with the moon smiling sideways at us believing that this moment would happen this whole time.
This is just an assembling of the best things that happened on the bus and I can't wait to share the story of the night we arrived here in Banff.
